CNN International is proud to announce the addition of Kenyan journalist Victoria Rubadiri to its acclaimed series, Connecting Africa. As the show celebrates its fifth anniversary, Rubadiri will be at the forefront of narrating the evolution and growth of businesses throughout the continent, as well as the significant effects of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.

Rubadiri, a seasoned journalist, transitions to CNN from her previous role as a senior anchor and reporter at Citizen TV in Nairobi. Her rich background includes a stint in radio broadcasting in both Kenya and the United States, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University, Philadelphia. Her storytelling prowess was recognized in 2020 when she received the prestigious BBC World News Komla Dumor Award.
