His Royal Majesty Oba Saliu Babatunde Saliu was born Into Multiple royal families. His father Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu was the first Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom and a member of the Ojora Royal Family While his mother Olori Adeola Saliu(New Ashade of Ogba) is from Ashade and Oluwa Royal families.
He began his education at Irepodun Primary School, Sari Iganmu Lagos. And Proceeded to Comprehensive High School, Aiyetoro Ogun State. On Completion of his Secondary School education, he gained admission to Lagos State University (LASU) Where he Studied Micro-Biology. Afterward, he traveled Out of the Country and Obtained Certificate Programmes in the United Kingdom. Oba Babatunde Saliu later came back to the Country and Obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and a BSc. in business Administration at the Prestigious University of Lagos. Akoka and a Masters in Philosophy and Professional Masters’s in Public and International affairs.
He is Currently Running his Ph.D. Program at UNILAG. The soft-spoken first-class monarch is a Vibrant, resourceful, dynamic, intelligent Person with a wealth of experience in both Private and Public Organizations. He has promised to bring to bear this wealth of experience in the running of the kingdom’s Affairs.
He was once a Personal Assistant to the 16th president of the federal republic of Nigeria. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu., Served as Special Adviser (SA) on Waterfront, Infrastructure development between 2012 and 2015 to the former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, And was the Senior Special Assistant on Lands matters to the Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Sanwoolu ( Mr Sellable). Oba Babatunde Saliu was the Vice Chairman of Kosofe Local government. He had aspired for Chairmanship before he was nominated Vice Chairman. He is a renowned Philanthropist and human Capacity developer. Oba Babatunde Saliu is happily married to Olori Bukola Maryam Saliu and they are blessed with lovely Kids.
He is celebrating 1st anniversary of the ascension of his father’s throne as Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom.
He became the second Oloworo 11 of Oworonshok Kingdom with the motive and mission to boost the Oworo community among his peers, however, knowing him for rendering service to humanity and for selflessness prompted physical cash worth millions of Naira, disbursement of Grinding Machines to the less privileged, and many more to mention but few in commemoration of his one year on the throne.
