Enyimba head coach, Finidi George has said his team’s victory at the 2023 Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs is a result of hard work.
Finidi led the People’s Elephant to win their record ninth NPL title after topping the Super Six playoffs table.
The Aba giants finished with nine points from five matches in the competition
Enyimba have also earned a place in next season’s CAF Champions League.
The former Super Eagles star revealed that Enyimba will continue to work hard to make impact on the continent.
“This achievement is a big reward for hard work for us,” a joyous Finidi told DAILY POST in Lagos.
“It’s a big thing for us to return back to the continental football that’s where we belong.
“We won’t relent we will continue to work hard to make an impact next season in the CAF Champions League.”
Remo Stars finished second and will also compete in the CAF Champions League for the first time in the history of the club.
Rivers United will play in the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing third.
