Ademola Lookman is determined to impress Atalanta fans after linking up with the Serie A club from RB Leipzig.
Lookman’s future appears to be uncertain after Leicester City refused to take the option to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of last season.
The 24-year-old impressed during a loan stint at the King Power as he scored eight goals and provided five assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
The move to Atalanta provides a fresh start for Lookman, who also spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan at another English Premier League club, Fulham.
The new season in Italy is expected to kick off next weekend and the winger is looking forward to it with great excitement.
“I think for me the platform Serie A is amazing, it’s a massive club in Italy and plays attacking, great football, so for me it was an easy decision to make really,” Lookman told Atalanta YouTube channel.
“I’d say I am explosive, excited, I like to score goals, like to set up goals, like to make things happen.”
“I like to create dangerous situations, for the rest, I consider myself a chilled, relaxed guy.”
