[Ghana] Renovation works begin at Karela United’s CAM Park

The Public Relations Officer of Aiyinase-based Karela United, Nii Armah Ashong Katai has confirmed the commencement of renovation works at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park has begun ahead of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

The CAM Park which was banned last season is set to receive a massive face-lift following the Club Licensing Board intervention.

The inner perimeter, dressing room, turf, media stand, and other facilities are expected to be renovated before Karela United home game against Aduana Stars on the October 29,2021.

The maintenance works will also include capacity training program where fans would be skilled in maintaining the edifice and other sporting infrastructures at the CAM Park.

“Following the Ghana FA’s ban on our home grounds, we have been ordered to put some facilities in good shape to avoid any future violence, work already ongoing” He told Ghana- Western Region Radio Station   West End Radio
