GOMBE GOVERNOR MOURNS NUHU POLOMA, FORMER PDP CHAIRMAN
Gombe governor mourns Nuhu Poloma, former PDP chairman, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the executive governor of Gombe State has expressed griefs over the demise of Hon. Nuhu Poloma, the former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gombe chapter, who died on monday aged 78 YEARS, Nigerianjournal reports .
In a condolence message, Governor Yahaya described the late PDP stalwart as a respected elder statesman, courageous politician, and patriot who served the state and nation diligently as a federal law maker in the second republic, customs officer, public servant, party chieftain and community leader.
He said Mr. Poloma’s death is a great loss not only to his immediate family but the state and the nation as a whole.
Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya, extended on behalf of the Government and people of Gombe state, his heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s family, members of the PDP and his associates, praying Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and give those he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
